We are raising Red Wattle hogs, a heritage breed highly sought-after by chefs and known as “the beef of pork.” Our pigs are pasture-raised so they can engage in all their natural behaviors like exploring, foraging, and splashing in puddles. Pastured pork has a variety of ecological benefits (learn more here), and is thought to be higher in vitamins and beneficial fatty acids than commercially-available confinement-raised pork. We feed locally-grown and Certified Organic grain from Fresh Starts Farm. Contact us with questions, or if you’re ready to send in your deposit! Whole/half hogs will be processed late August, retail cuts will be available in September.
